Strattanville is a hidden gem with plenty of things to do. It’s one of the newest tourist destinations in the area and is a great side trip from Pittsburgh or Northern Cambria. But before you plan a trip, you need to know what to expect in this smaller, but charming city.

Strattanville is a hidden destination

Located in Clarion County, PA, Strattanville is a small town that has managed to hold its historic charm and appeal. This borough was first laid out in 1828 by John Strattan Sr. and is the oldest settlement in the county. In fact, the settlement predates the county itself by 11 years. It was then incorporated into a borough in 1850. Although no longer the county seat, Strattanville still has many auspices of its history, including the former school house, which is now home to the American Legion.
