Long Valley Pub and Brewery
Located in a 200-year-old barn, Long Valley Pub and Brewery offers great food and crafted beer. The menu includes American favorites and Italian specialties. The restaurant also features dishes with German roots, such as sauerbraten and German potato salad. In addition to its unique menu, the Long Valley Pub and Brewery offers outdoor seating. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, guests can dine al fresco.
Founded in 1995, Long Valley Pub and Brewery maintains a seven-barrel brewing system that produces about 800 barrels of beer a year. The pub produces and distributes its own light beer, as well as a number of other beverages. The Long Valley Pub and Brewery also serves lunch items like chicken breast dishes, grilled shrimp, steaks, sandwiches, and more. It is also a popular venue for different events and celebrations.
Long Valley Nature Center
Long Valley Nature Center is a perfect place for a family picnic or a day of nature exploration. It is located in the San Jacinto Mountains and is home to more than 50 miles of hiking trails. It also features the seasonal Long Valley Creek and a one-mile trail known as the Discover Nature Trail. The center is open to the public and does not require a permit. During the warmer months, the park can be home to vibrant wildflowers.
Long Valley Nature Preserve
There are many ways to experience the beauty of Long Valley Nature Preserve. During the summer months, visitors can go hiking or horseback riding, or even bike along some of the trails. There are some restrictions, however, so be aware of these before you go. The climate is dry and hot, so visitors should wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing and sturdy hiking shoes. There is a staging area where drinking water can be obtained, but visitors are strongly encouraged to bring their own.
