Sweet Creek Farm Market
If you’re looking for a place to get the freshest produce, you can’t go wrong with SweetCreek Farm Market. This family-owned market features locally grown produce, honey, handmade soaps and candles, and a cafe featuring award-winning BBQ and farm-to-table dishes. There’s also an outdoor dining shelter and a play area for kids. They also have farm animals and regularly host family events and educational activities.
Sweet Creek Farm Market is located on Highway 231, south of Montgomery. There are many things to do here, including shopping, ice cream, and a petting zoo. The market is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
During the summer season, SweetCreek Farm Market features live music and a popular music venue. It also hosts a Simply SweetCreek Maker’s Market on Saturday mornings. It features handmade goods from Alabama artisans. SweetCreek is located south of Montgomery off Troy Highway, and is open nine to seven on weekdays and seven days a week.
In October, the market hosts the Pumpkin Festival. The event features a scarecrow contest and activities for children. It is a great place to bring your family, because it also has great food and a family-friendly atmosphere. Also, the 2022 Farm-City Festival will feature pony rides, wildlife, and a petting zoo.
Another great place to visit while on a road trip is Mike’s Meat Market in Muscle Shoals. There, you can buy fresh cut meat and rubs and seasonings. This market is open Monday through Saturday, so plan ahead and take the whole family.
Piroshky Piroshky brewpub
The famed Russian bakery opened its doors in Pike Place Market in 1992. It has four locations in the city, including a pop-up in Cedar Park. In 2007, it was featured on Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations. Now, it’s expanding its reach to other cities. As part of its national tour, it’s offering deliveries to locations around the country. For example, its Pike Place Market location will deliver orders to Third Space Brewing, which is located at 1505 W. St. Paul Ave.
The brewpub serves piroshky, a hand-held pie made with yeast-leavened dough. It can be baked or fried, and can contain savory or sweet fillings. These hand-held pie snacks are great to eat at any time of day. Popular offerings include the smoked salmon pate, potato & cheese, veggie chipotle piroshky, and cinnamon cardamom braid. While visiting the brewery, be sure to stop by the piroshky brewing area, where they set up their oven.
If you’re in the area, you’ll probably want to grab a couple of Piroshky to take home with you. These traditional Russian-style pies are a great way to kick off a day in Pike Road. The piroshky is made with fresh ingredients, and they’re cooked to order. They also come in a variety of sizes. You can order smoked salmon and beef and cheese piroshky, or smoked salmon and cheese piroshky.
You can also take a taxi to get around the area. Uber, Lyft, and Yellow Cabs all operate in the city. It’s also a good idea to walk since most local drivers know not to drive down the historic cobblestone pathway in Pike Place. You can also park your car in the Pike Place Market garage, which has three entrances on Western Avenue. Otherwise, there are several nearby parking lots.
Crane Orchards

Seattle Art Museum

Its music collection is a particular sweet spot for music buffs, as exhibits feature priceless artifacts from some of Seattle’s most iconic bands. Visitors can see stage-worn clothes and handwritten lyrics from Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain, as well as memorabilia from Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
The Seattle Art Museum has four floors of galleries, and new installations rotate in regularly. Its permanent collection features a huge variety of works by African, American, European, and Native American artists. In addition, there is a large collection of contemporary art. Visitors can test-fly jetpacks and experience the cockpit of an F/A-18L Hornet fighter. The museum also hosts special events. During the week, the museum is open daily. Weekends are the busiest times to visit, so be sure to plan your trip accordingly.
Another great place to visit in Pike Road is the Seattle Aquarium. It’s located at Pier 59. There are exhibits dedicated to the Pacific Ocean and Puget Sound. Visitors can also view the giant Pacific octopus, which is over 20 feet across. A gift shop and cafe complete the experience.
