You may also want to keep in mind that there are cattle in the area, so it’s best to keep your dog on a leash.

There are also two dog parks located in the city. One is the Pinery Provincial Park and is located next to Picnic Area 1. The other one is located behind the City’s Operation building at 330 Wentworth Street. Birch Avenue Dog Park is a two-hectare (5-acre) fenced space that is open every day from sunrise to sunset.
