After opening its doors in October, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. is already making waves in the community. It’s partnered with local non-profit organizations like the Menello Museum and 4.01k, a financial literacy program. The brewery is an excellent example of how a brewery can give back to the community.
Dog-friendly area
The Ivanhoe Estate has a dog-friendly area that’s available for visitors to enjoy. There’s a public bar and outdoor garden that dogs can enjoy, as long as they’re kept on a leash. Dogs and people go well together. You can take your pet on a walk in the park, or sit and relax in the doggie playground. You can even take your dog for a swim. There are plenty of sheltered beaches for pups and people, and a fenced reserve for dogs with water fountains.
If you and your dog love nature and hiking, you can also take them to Bark Park. It is a small, exposed park that has plenty to offer dogs. There are both leashed and off-leash areas, large grassy areas, walking tracks and a reserve that is great for birdwatching.
