A park theme has been used throughout to create a fun and safe environment.

The ropes course opened for climbers in July. The ropes course is one of the major additions to the park’s $4 million renovation. The project first went before the Arlington County Board in late 2017. It included a new playground at the base of the hill, parking improvements, new walking trails, an underground cistern for stormwater, restrooms, and more. The construction was funded by revenue bonds issued by the Virginia Resources Authority.
Climb UPton is located at Upton Hill Regional Park, 6060 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington. The facility is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 pm to 8 pm. During the winter months, the facility will close until mid-March.
