Those objects have since been exhibited in the Linden Museum.

Lyndhurst Castle
Lyndhurst, also known as the Jay Gould estate, is a historic mansion and park on the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York. It is half a mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge on US 9. In 1966, it was designated a National Historic Landmark. Today, it attracts visitors from all over the world.
The Lyndhurst Castle was designed by Alexander Jackson Davis in 1838 and sits on a 67-acre estate. The castle has a unique Gothic Revival design that incorporates stained glass, vaulted ceilings, and marble floors. The house was owned by three different families until it was donated to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 1961. The exterior and interior features are adorned with Gothic tracery and Tiffany stained glass. The furnishings were originally designed by Alexander Jackson Davis.
The Lyndhurst mansion has been featured in several TV shows and movies. It was the setting for the TV series America’s Castles.
