Warner Vineyards Winery
The Warner Vineyards Winery is located in the Lake Michigan Shore appellation. It has been a family business since 1938, and has produced wines that have been served at the White House and two Super Bowls. The winery is currently run by the 3rd generation of the Warner family.
The Warner winery offers a wide variety of wines, including a non-alcoholic sparkling fruit juice and dessert wines. The grape blend Grapes of Love is a best seller. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. It is slightly sweet and has a hint of peach. I also tried the Veritas non-vintage, a blend of Chambourcin and Cabernet Franc. It was dark purple with mild tannins and a fruity finish.
