The nine-hole course measures 1615 yards from the forward tees and plays to a maximum distance of 1709 yards from the back tees. It features two holes that feature water hazards. Founded in 1958, the Addison Golf Course features a slope rating of 113.
Bitter Sisters Brewery
If you’re in Addison, one of the places to go in Addison is the Bitter Sisters Brewery. This family-owned craft brewery focuses on lagers and ales. It has a tasting room with simple furnishings and offers tours on Saturdays.
The breweries are operated by eight members of the family, including head brewer Matt Ehinger, who is married to one of the sisters. The brewery is located in a nondescript building with plenty of seating. The decor is plain, but the beers are excellent and the service is friendly.
One of the more unique Addison places to visit is the Bitter Sisters Brewery, which is the only production brewery in the city. It is an independent craft brewery that has earned a reputation for brewing excellent beer. The Cavanaugh Flight Museum is a non-profit organization that promotes aviation heritage and studies. Although it does not offer formal guided tours, the museum provides informative signs near most of its exhibits. The museum also offers space for events and rents its hangar.
