The Village of Valley View is located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. It is a small village of approximately 2,034 residents. It is a suburban suburb of Cleveland and is part of the Cuyahoga Heights and Brooklyn Heights school districts. If you’re visiting the area, there are plenty of things to do.

Valley View Park

Valley View Park, located on Valley View Drive in Bristow/Nokesville, is a great place to play soccer, softball, and baseball. It also features a playground, restrooms, and picnic pavilions. There are also two rentable shelters available. The park also has hiking and skiing trails, and is a great place to take your family.

This park is also home to a nine-hole golf course. It’s a par-3 course with some elevation changes, but mostly flat. The terrain is thick with tall grass. The course begins with a throw down a hill that overlooks the valley. From there, it winds through the woods through the valley. The course finishes on the opposite end of the parking lot.

Valley View Casino

Valley View Casino is a gaming and entertainment destination in the Valley of the Sun. It recently completed a $43,000 square foot expansion and renovation project to add a new restaurant and expand its gaming floor. The casino now has over two thousand slots and 22 table games for patrons to enjoy. The casino also offers live entertainment and regular concerts.

The casino’s restaurants and bars serve a variety of American and Asian cuisine. The iconic Maine Lobster Buffet and Black&Blue Steakhouse and Lounge are two of the restaurant choices. Guests can also enjoy the daily gourmet breakfast buffet at The Cafe. Patties & Pints is another restaurant offering American-style dishes. The casino also features a craft and draft beer bar, and a pastry shop. Its 24-hour snack shop, Sweets, Stix, and Snax, is another place where guests can fill up on their favorite items.

The Valley View Casino & Hotel has announced that it will be hiring 100 new employees this May. The expansion will add 40,000 square feet of casino floor space, additional restaurants, a new entrance and Players Club area, and a new restaurant. The expansion plan has been reviewed for compliance with the Tribal – State Gaming Compact and Tribal Environmental Impact Ordinance, so it is expected to pass muster.

The casino has also updated its buffet. It now offers more dishes and more space. It has added more seating for customers, and has a 100-foot-long dessert bar. In addition, it has updated the dining area to include a variety of salads and soups, which complement the buffet’s diverse selection of cuisine. Its menu also features king crab, prime rib, and other seafood.

Valley View Hot Springs

A visit to Valley View Hot Springs means an escape to nature. This clothing-optional, all-ages hot springs sanctuary offers hiking trails, campsites, and rustic lodging. Guests can also enjoy swimming in the natural hot springs. It’s a fun place for a family outing or a romantic getaway.

Valley View Hot Springs is tucked away on more than two hundred acres of community-owned land. The park includes four natural ponds, a swimming pool, a hot tub, and a sauna. While you’re here, you can relax naked, watch bats, or enjoy a nice hot shower. It’s best to make reservations before you go. The springs are managed by the Orient Land Trust, which was created in 2001. The land was formerly part of a mine. In 2009, Neil and Terry Seitz donated the land to the trust.

There are seven pools at Valley View Hot Springs, and three of them are within walking distance from the parking lot. The cabin has mountain views, which make it a great place for a family vacation, a special occasion getaway, or a mini retreat.

Valley View Cabins has 14 log cabins with amenities designed for comfort and relaxation. These cabins are located on private wooded lots, and range from two to six bedrooms. The cabins are about a half-hour drive from Columbus. You’ll also be close to local attractions like Dinosaur Valley State Park and the Hocking River. In addition to the cabins, the property includes a private chapel for wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 65 people.

Orient Mine

The Orient Mine is open to the public and has helpful information. Non-guests may view the mine for free. They can also hike to the Black Canyon trailhead, which is not well maintained and may not be accessible to low-clearance vehicles. Overnight camping is not allowed. The OLT Welcome Center offers informative information about the mine and surrounding area.

The Orient Mine is not located on a paved road, but the cabins and the pool are easily accessible. The closest hot spring is less than five minutes’ walk away, but the path is uneven and requires sturdy shoes. Visitors should bring extra clothing in case it rains. They should also be considerate of the bats and other wildlife and refrain from using flash photography. In addition, they should keep their movements quiet and speak in low voices.

The Orient Mine is home to a variety of creatures, including bats. The valley is home to a large hot spring-fed swimming pool, a natural hot tub, and a green sauna. The water is pure and chlorine-free, so it’s the perfect temperature for swimming. The pool also overlooks the valley below, making it a unique place to enjoy a relaxing swim.

The Orient Mine is 2 miles north of Valley View’s Welcome Center. Visitors may take a free guided tour. They should arrive at the mine before dusk, when the bats are most active. The mine was once the largest iron ore mine in the world. At one time, it supported a population of 400 people. The bats spent their summers in the mine during the 1960s. Typically, they arrive from Mexico during the middle of June and return via Carlsbad Caverns. In recent years, however, the winter was unusually warm, which caused them to arrive earlier than normal.
