Hesston Steam Museum

Laporte County Historical Society Museum

The Laporte County Historical Society Museum features fourteen period rooms that illustrate life in La Porte County from various times throughout the past. The rooms include a 1920s kitchen, a Victorian parlor, a 1950s living room and a school room. Visitors can also view antique medical equipment in the doctor’s and dentist’s offices. The museum also features items that were brought to La Porte by pioneers.

The Laporte County Historical Society Museum is located at 2405 Indiana Avenue in La Porte, IN. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. It is free to enter.
