Country park
Harrold-Odell Country Park is a wonderful amenity for the local residents of North Bedfordshire. This 144-acre park offers a nature reserve, two picturesque lakes, and a stretch of the River Great Ouse. It is managed by the Bedford Borough Council and has been awarded the CPRE Mark for landscape improvement.
There are a number of ways to get around the park. There is a kickwall, a tarmaced area with sprung walls and a basketball hoop. This area is accessible for disabled users and is a popular attraction for local children. The park also features a skateboard park and two play areas. One is located on the Harrold side of the lake while the other is accessible via the Horsefair Lane entrance from Odell.
