Independence Day Parade

The Evart Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual Independence Day Parade in Main Street. It takes place every July 4th. The parade is a fun event for everyone. The parade begins at 11 a.m. and marches from 3rd to 5th streets toward the Osceola County Fairgrounds. Previously, the parade was held at Riverside Park, but has now moved to the fairgrounds.

In addition to the parade, there are many other activities and events that take place in Evart throughout the year. During the summer, the city hosts the Osceola County Fairgrounds, which is home to the Evart 4-H/FFA Fair. There are also a number of special events that take place on the grounds, including the Gold Wings Tour and Floydfest Carving Seminar.

The Independence Day Parade in Evart is one of the highlights of the community’s summer festivities. It features parade participants and floats, as well as music, food and fireworks. Fireworks will be launched from the grounds of the State Fair Park at 9:30 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to park early to view the display.

There are also events for the entire family. In addition to the parade, the city will host a corn hole tournament. The tournament begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, and entry is $30 per team. The event will be held in the open field across from the 6th and Main Bar and Grill.

Haunted Park

Evart, Michigan is a sleepy little town, west of Clare on US10 near Reed City. It is home to a few ghost stories and one of the most haunted cemeteries in the state. People who have been inside the cemetery at night have reported seeing glowing gravestones, which come on and go off randomly.

The Evart Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Development Authority have organized an annual Haunted Park. The event is held at Riverside Park East, 6152 6 Mile Rd., and is open to the public for $5. Proceeds from the event benefit the Class of 2022 at Evart High School. Trick-or-Treat hours are from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, and the Evart Christmas Carnival is held on Tuesdays at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.

4th of July walk/run

Evart, Michigan, is known for its four-season recreational activities and festivities. Residents enjoy hunting, fishing, canoeing, river tubing, and dirt biking. The community also hosts annual events such as the Evart Easter Egg Drop, the Memorial Day Parade and Flet, and the Main Street Art Fair.

5K walk/run

You can sign up for a 5K walk/run in Evart, Iowa on July 4th. The race begins and ends at Evart Elementary School, and refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
