East Stroudsburg is a borough in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Poconos region. The town was originally known as Danbury, but was renamed East Stroudsburg for geographic reasons. The Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad built a station in town.

Shawnee Mountain Ski Area
If you are looking for a family friendly ski resort in eastern Pennsylvania, you can’t go wrong with Shawnee Mountain.
