Since reverse osmosis systems produce less pure freshwater than distillation, it is not advisable to consume the liquid salts. To ensure that the liquid salts can be used in making water from sea salts, they are stored in tanks that are heat resistant.
Water that has been made using sea salts can be sold to companies or the public. The process of producing sea salts is not only more expensive but also requires more investment than the reverse osmosis process, which is a point that can be debated for many years to come.
