Rowe Park
Located on the Minnesota-Wisconsin border, Rowe Park is an excellent park for children and families. It is named after its founder, Thomas B. Rowe, and is a great place to play disc golf and play tennis. The park has a pavilion and walking paths, as well as restrooms and a sand volleyball court.
A number of improvements are planned for Rowe Park. These include ADA-compliant connectivity, parking for all users, and an upgraded restroom building. Improvements also include improved play areas, terraced spectator seating, and an improved playground. Additionally, there are plans for a looping trail and native plant growth.
Rowe Ridge Vineyard & Winery
Rowe Ridge Vineyard & Winery is a small family-run business in Kansas. Located just outside the city, this vineyard is open to the public by appointment most days of the week. The vineyard is planted with 2900 vines, currently producing eight different varieties of wine. Rowe Ridge produces French-American hybrids as well as fruit wines, including blackberry and apple-pear.
Rowe Ridge Vineyard & Winery is located just north of the Kansas Speedway and has over three thousand vines. The winery is a small and family-owned business that is open to the public for wine tasting and gift-shopping. You can also walk through the vineyard and enjoy a view of the grapes. Pelham Lake Park
Pelham Lake Park is a natural gem in the town of Rowe. It’s a hill town with a median elevation of 1350 feet. Its highest point is Adams Mountain, 2140 feet above sea level. The mountain’s western boundary drops 900 feet to the Deerfield River. The park was created after Percy Brown donated 448 acres to the town between 1956 and 1963. Since then, Rowe has acquired adjoining land and expanded Pelham Lake Park into a 1360 acre jewel.
