The city has an abundance of historic buildings and is a great place to go shopping and dining.
Water Street Glassworks
If you love glass and have ever wondered what it looks like in person, you will want to visit Water Street Glassworks. This glass arts school was started by a glass artist named Jerry Catania. He had a great impact on the glass community and wanted to share his passion and expertise with others. To that end, he launched a free after school program called “Fired Up!” in the Fall of 2004. The program is open to teens between the ages of twelve to 18 years old. It requires a two-year commitment and students will work in one of the four studios. The instructors are highly trained and will guide students through the process.
Water Street Glassworks also offers a variety of classes and programs for children and teens. The After School Program is a great way for young people to get involved and learn new skills. Students can also learn the art of glassblowing, glass beadmaking, and fused glass. There is also a Homeschool Partnership Program, which allows homeschooled students to take classes at Water Street Glassworks.
Salty Harbor Mini-Golf

This family fun center features fun for everyone, from toddlers to adults. In addition to mini golf, the attraction is also home to the Wipeout inflatable obstacle course, which is inspired by the popular ABC game show.
