Devil’s Den Spring

If you’re visiting Bay Springs, be sure to check out Devil’s Den. It’s a popular tourist destination, so it can get very busy. However, you can take advantage of a reservation system to avoid having to wait in line. There are two best times to visit – early in the morning and late at night when there’s less sunlight in the water.

The water at Devil’s Den is very cold, so you’ll want to dress accordingly. A wetsuit can help you stay warm while you’re in the water. Also, wearing one will help you beat the crowds. A wetsuit can also help you get a little more time in the water. However, you should be aware of the dangers associated with water-based activities.

The spring is a privately owned location, so there are certain rules and a limit on the number of people allowed in. You’ll need to make a reservation if you want to swim here, as well as rent snorkel gear and a wetsuit. You’ll need to rent the equipment for two hours, so be sure to keep that in mind when planning your trip.

Besides diving, the spring is also a popular place to go snorkeling. The water temperature at Devil’s Den is always about 72 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because the spring is surrounded by underground soil, which is very insulating. The water is cool on hot summer days, but it’s warm enough for snorkeling and diving in the winter. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the water, you may want to wear a 3mm wetsuit to keep yourself warm.
