Its very important to take care of your gums with rinses. Sage and salt are astringents, mild antiseptics, and help to tighten gums, keeping your mouth clean and healthy! So, using these rinses daily will help in the prevention of bleeding, red, and soft gums which are signs of gingivitis, a plaque-feeding bacteria.

Sage Rinse

Use one cup of boiling water, two teaspoons of dried sage, and half of a teaspoon of sea salt.
1. Pour the water over the dried sage.
2. Cover.
3. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
4. Strain into a cup.
5. Add the sea salt.
6. Let cool.
7. After brushing, swish some of the mixture in your mouth.

* The mixture will last about two days.

Sea Salt Rinse

Make a solution of an eighth of a teaspoon of sea salt and a quart of warm water. Just dissolve the sea salt into the water and swish it around in your mouth after brushing and flossing your teeth.

So, remember to take care of your teeth and gums; brush, floss, and rinse after every meal to prevent any gum disorders. Do this daily and will never have to worry!
