The Sunnyside location will also feature a taproom. Alewife currently operates a brewpub in Long Island City. It specializes in brewing rare brews, and will also increase its production in Sunnyside. Its owners, Patrick and Roz Donagher, also own several popular Manhattan bars, including Fools Gold.
