The Peshtigo River State Forest has over 12,000 acres of beautiful forests and scenic waterways. This camping area features a family-friendly campground with 16 sites. It is located about 16 miles north of Crivitz. Old Veteran’s Lake is also accessible by boat.

Bloch Oxbow State Natural Area

It is one of the last remaining examples of northern dry-mesic forest, a type of ecosystem that once covered much of northeastern Wisconsin.
