Arthritis is caused by inflammation in the cartilage and joints, affecting any area of the body. The main symptoms are pain, stiffness, swelling, tenderness, and deformity. All of these symptoms are horrible burdens to deal with on a daily basis. I tip my hat to all of those suffering from any type of arthritis, here are some natural ways to help you with your pain and suffering.

Dietary Allergens

Dietary allergens are a common issue with people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Avoiding these allergies will help prevent any unwanted swelling, causing more pain.

Fats

Avoid inflammation by taking saturated animal fats, polyunsaturated, partially hydrogenated, and hydrogenated oils out of your diet.

You should have a daily intake of alleviating fats such as omega-3 fatty acids and olive oil. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in cold-water fish such as herring, salmon, and sardines. They are also found in flaxseeds and walnuts.

Olive oil should be your main source of fat, use with all you cooking instead of other cooking oils. Be sure to add 1-2 servings of omega-3 fatty acids for added variety of fats.

Anti-inflammatory

Reduce inflammation by adding ginger and tumeric to your daily recipes.
